About
I am Kay Tomas and this is my little corner of the internet. A place I've created to learn, build, reivew, test stuff, and tweak pixels until they behave exactly as I want.
I've spent more than 20 years in the IT business, and this site is where that experience meets my hobbies: photography, writing, gaming, business, and diving way too deep into the things I care about. The goal is simple: play around, publish high-quality, honest content for people who actually enjoy reading. I still belive written, evergreen content has a place on the internet in 2025 and onwards.
Here you'll find long-form reviews, news, and a growing focus on hardware and game studios from the Nordics. No clickbait. No fluff. Just thoughtful articles written by someone who genuinely loves this.
kaytomas.com is also where I push myself to get better — as a web developer, writer, a photographer, and a creator.
And yes, it's also where I try to convince hardware companies to send me free stuff.
AI Content Disclosure
I personally write all text in all reviews and articles on these pages. As a genuine "sloppy writer" I do use AI tools for proof reading and grammar checks.
And this site could not have been made without my developer friend Mats + my ultrathinking programming friend, Claude.
Privacy Policy and Data Collection
kaytomas.com is a small, independent site. I don’t track you across the internet, I don’t sell your data, and I have no interest in building a behavioural profile of you. I simply want to understand which articles people read so I can write better ones.
To keep it simple, this site uses Plausible analytics, privacy-focused, cookiefree analytics tool.
Plausible gives me basic information such as how many people visited a page, where the traffic came from, and which posts are popular. Plausible doesn’t store personal data, doesn’t fingerprint you, and doesn’t follow you around between sites.
If you contact me directly—whether it’s for a review request, a tip, or just to say hello—your email stays with me, locally, and nowhere else.
